Great music from great musicians
Not only was this a performance by the legendary Robert Plant but it was top-notch night of music by the Band of Joy. Robert was joined on stage by a diverse group of musicians - Patty Griffin, vocals and my personal favorite, Buddy Miller, guitar/vocals, Darrell Scott, multi instrumentalist/vocals, Byron House, Bass/Vocals, and Marco Giovino, drums and percussion/vocals. The guitar work by Buddy Miller was awe-inspiring. The entire band rocked. But it was Darrell Scott who was the BIG surprise to me. He was an amazing musician, playing a wide of variety of instruments and providing vocals during the course of the evening. It just doesn't get much better than sitting out under the stars at the Greek Theater listening to some great music. I am so glad I was there!
